Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to administer patient care practices, complete ancillary tasks, and maintain equipment and work areas in a neat and safe condition.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer sound patient care practices according to department and hospital policies/procedures.
  • Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
  • Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
  • Provide clinical services according to Nuclear Medicine practice standards.
  • Act as a resource to Nuclear Medicine students and other technologists.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Associate's school/program of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • ARRT-N or CNMT obtained within one year of hire date.
  • NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within one year of hire date.
  • Registered State Inspector – Virginia within 3 months.
  • Experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Student.
  • Basic Life Support upon start.
