We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our team at Lenox Hill Radiology. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of Leading Radiology Forward.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and/or positron emission tomography/computed tomography images on patients while providing exceptional care.
- Follow established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes, under the direction of the radiologist.
- Guide patients through the exam process, addressing their questions and concerns with kindness and professionalism.
- Monitor patients' well-being during exams, recognizing and addressing any discomfort or medical issues.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
- ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification.
- State Nuclear Medicine License.
- Venipuncture certification/permit.
- CPR certification.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
- A competitive hourly rate of $55.00.
