Job Summary
The Benefits Administrator will be responsible for the administration and support of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and providing excellent service to employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the enrollment, changes, and terminations of employee benefits, including health, retirement, and wellness programs.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, providing accurate information and resolving issues effectively.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits, including documentation and reporting.
- Create and distribute materials to educate employees about benefits options and updates, facilitating understanding and engagement.
- Liaise with benefits vendors to facilitate enrollment processes, manage service issues, and ensure service quality.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to benefits programs, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Assist in preparing reports on benefits utilization and costs to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or human resources, with a focus on employee benefits preferred.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, CEBS) are a plus.
