Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the enrollment, changes, and terminations of employee benefits, including health, retirement, and wellness programs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, providing accurate information and resolving issues effectively.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations related to employee benefits, including documentation and reporting.
  • Create and distribute materials to educate employees about benefits options and updates, facilitating understanding and engagement.
  • Liaise with benefits vendors to facilitate enrollment processes, manage service issues, and ensure service quality.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to benefits programs, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Assist in preparing reports on benefits utilization and costs to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in benefits administration or human resources, with a focus on employee benefits preferred.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, CEBS) are a plus.
