About the Role

We are seeking an experienced International Medical Director to join our team at Novo Nordisk. As a key member of our Global Development Hub, you will play a critical role in the development of our innovative treatments for patients with cardiovascular diseases.

The successful candidate will have a strong scientific background, with experience in clinical development and a deep understanding of the cardiovascular therapy area. You will be responsible for providing clinical and scientific expertise to support the design and execution of clinical trials, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical and scientific expertise to support the development of our treatments for cardiovascular diseases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute clinical trials
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including ICH, GCP, and national and international regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to support the development of our treatments, including PRO and biomarker strategies
  • Interface with regulatory authorities and external stakeholders, including KOLs and Principal Investigators
Requirements
  • MD or equivalent degree required
  • 1+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a focus on clinical development
  • Experience in the cardiovascular therapy area is preferred
  • Strong scientific background and experience in reviewing and interpreting scientific and study data
  • Track record of scientific publications is strongly preferred
