As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Community Access Services, you will provide compassionate support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks. You will also support individuals in developing and achieving personal goals, fostering independence and self-confidence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Support individuals in developing and achieving personal goals, fostering independence and self-confidence.
  • Engage individuals in community activities, outings, and social events.
  • Monitor and document progress, behaviors, and health status.
  • Ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
