Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect patient care, optimizing patient safety and working proactively with the healthcare team.
- Screen patients, perform complete histories and physical examinations, and order necessary medications and laboratory studies.
- Perform surgical assistant responsibilities, including handling tissue, providing exposure, and using instruments.
- Respond to the Emergency Room to manage and/or assist with trauma resuscitation.
- Instruct patients on discharge information, home care of wounds, and use of medication.
- NCCPA Certification required
- Maryland PA License
- DEA/CDS Licensure
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
