Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care and support our surgeons in the delivery of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care, optimizing patient safety and working proactively with other team members.
  • Act as a care coordinator for surgeons, referring physicians, and nursing staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Screen patients, perform complete histories and physical examinations, and order/prescribe necessary medications and laboratory studies.
  • Perform surgical assistant responsibilities, including handling tissue, providing exposure, and using instruments.
  • Respond to the Emergency Room to manage and/or assist with trauma resuscitation.

Requirements:

  • NCCPA Certification required
  • Maryland PA License
  • DEA/CDS Licensure
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • American Heart Association ACLS
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
