Terre Haute Regional Hospital is seeking a Quality Coordinator RN to assist in the overall coordination of Medical Staff/Hospital-wide Performance Improvement activities. This role maintains records and Performance Improvement documentation to support credentialing, collects and analyzes data, and prepares monitoring and evaluation reports for Medical and Surgical Review Committees.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the coordination of Hospital-wide PI Teams
- Collect, aggregate, and display data obtained from the monitoring and evaluation process
- Conduct first-level analysis of data and refer cases and concerns to physician reviewers
- Prepare monitoring and evaluation reports for Medical and Surgical Review Committees
- Monitor quality/quantity indicators per criteria
- Analyze data for trends of improvement and/or areas of concern
- Maintain mechanism to follow-up on areas of concern
- Work with outside agencies in the review of patients' quality of care issues
- Respond to PRO issues as requested and within requested time period
- RN license preferred
- Hospital Quality experience preferred
- 2-3 years experience in the medical field required
