We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to our patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and effective delivery of dialysis treatment, while also providing emotional support and education to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including hemodialysis treatment, vital sign monitoring, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with dialysis nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to meet individual patient needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior dialysis experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook.
  • Valid Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) certification a plus.
