Job Summary

As a Staff Pharmacist at Walmart, you will be at the forefront of patient communications, developing relationships with customers and advocating for their wellbeing. You will be empowered to share your clinical knowledge and work to the top of your license. This is a fast-paced environment where you will be equipped with the resources and technology you need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmaceutical care to customers, including processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintaining confidential information.
  • Maintain controlled medication and required documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Model and provide guidance to pharmacy staff on proper customer service approaches, including techniques to ensure concerns are successfully resolved.
  • Use tools, data, and personal conversations to understand your community and common concerns, and stay up-to-date on emergent and urgent health issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
