Key Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs, focusing on both technical and non-technical roles.
- Collaborate with founders and hiring managers to understand the specific needs and challenges of the startup and tailor recruitment efforts accordingly.
- Proactively source candidates through various channels, including job boards, referrals, and other creative methods.
- Engage with potential candidates, promoting the startup's mission, culture, and career opportunities.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess qualifications, cultural fit, and interest in the startup environment.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and sourcing to interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
- Coordinate and conduct interviews, working closely with hiring managers to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
- Provide a positive candidate experience, maintaining clear and timely communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Help build and promote the startup's employer brand by creating compelling content and leveraging social media and other platforms.
- Represent the startup at industry events, job fairs, and networking functions to attract top talent.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the startup's reputation as an employer of choice in the market.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire, to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Prepare reports on recruitment activities and outcomes for founders and key stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously improve recruitment processes and make informed decisions.
- Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Provide candidates with detailed information about the startup's mission, values, culture, and the specific role they are applying for.
- Manage the offer process, including salary negotiation, and ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the startup environment.
- Work closely with HR and hiring managers to develop and implement effective onboarding programs that help new hires integrate quickly and effectively into the startup.
- Provide support to new hires during their initial weeks and months, ensuring they have the resources and information they need to succeed.
- Gather feedback from new hires and hiring managers to continuously improve the onboarding process.
- Implement recruiting strategies that prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that the startup attracts a diverse pool of candidates.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop and promote an inclusive culture that values different perspectives and experiences.
- Monitor diversity metrics and adjust recruiting strategies as needed to improve diversity and inclusion outcomes.
- Stay agile and adaptable in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities and needs may shift rapidly.
- Be proactive in identifying potential talent needs and addressing challenges before they impact the startup's growth.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to improve recruiting processes, tools, and technologies to keep pace with the startup's growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in recruitment, with a focus on startup or fast-growing environments.
- Strong knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, particularly in the startup ecosystem.
- Proven ability to develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
