Insurance Account Specialist

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Account Specialist II to join our General Industry team in Dallas. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in assisting Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, managing key processes that serve clients, and undertaking client-facing and internal activities related to these processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in managing key processes that serve clients, including complex clients, and undertake client-facing and internal activities related to these processes.
- Support Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, providing exceptional client service and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results.
- Collaborate with Brokers as necessary, particularly on Commercial Risk business, to ensure seamless execution of client needs.
- Perform submission assembly/creation, facilitate the timely and accurate flow of information between clients and account team members, and handle client open items lists and respond to client ad-hoc requests.
- Analyze data and draft assigned elements of stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.
- Actively support and monitor the renewal process, drafting quote comparisons and following up for binders, policies, and endorsements as directed by the Broker.
- Coordinate activities of the client service team and Aon Client Services (ACS) to ensure efficient performance of key processes assigned.
- Primary collaborator with Premium Accounting on client billing matters, receiving and handling routine and sophisticated coverage inquiries and endorsement requests.
- Serve as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, Worker's Compensation posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
- Monitor and follow-up on invoice generation, fee agreements, receivables, and collections, addressing and resolving problems as needed.
- May provide guidance and mentoring to a less senior account specialist, delegating work to support staff and ACS where applicable.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of previous commercial insurance experience preferred.
- Property & Casualty brokers license preferred, or to be obtained within 120 days of start date.
