You will work closely with our security team to ensure the facility is secure and accessible for events and daily operations.
Responsibilities- Install, repair, and maintain locks, doors, and security devices throughout the facility
- Cut and program keys for staff, guests, and vendors
- Respond to lockout calls and resolve issues promptly
- Perform routine maintenance on locks, doors, and security systems
- Collaborate with security team to ensure facility security and access control
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inventory management
- Stay up to date with industry developments and best practices in locksmithing
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
- 5+ years of experience as a Locksmith and have a valid Dade County or state locksmith license
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with security systems, access control, and electronic locks
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in Locksmithing (e.g., ALOA, ILA) a plus
The Locksmith will work in indoor and outdoor settings with mild to adverse exposure to environmental hazards. The incumbent must be able to climb stairs and ladders and walk long distances to access all areas of the facility. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to loud.
