About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Utility Worker to join our team at the Miami Beach Convention Center. As a Utility Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and attendees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily janitorial tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown, including setting up tables, chairs, and staging, and ensuring that venues are arranged according to specified guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support the execution of events, ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean and organized.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including maintaining equipment and reporting any issues or concerns to the Event Operations Supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent desired.
  • Knowledge of basic janitorial and standard meeting room set-ups.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directives, collaborate effectively as a team member, and perform under pressure.
  • Capable of lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds.
