About the Role

As a Veterinary Technician, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional care to animals throughout their healthcare journey. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including assisting with outpatient treatments, conducting laboratory tests, and providing surgical support.

Key Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a veterinary technician is essential.
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in surgical, anesthesia, and dental procedures is required.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program is preferred, or equivalent experience that demonstrates the necessary skills and knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist the medical team in optimizing productivity and maintaining a smooth patient flow.

  • Gather relevant health histories from clients and keep medical charts updated.
  • Utilize safe restraint techniques and uphold cleanliness in treatment areas and examination rooms.
  • Mentor and support fellow team members as needed.
