Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer/Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the maintenance team in day-to-day activities, planning for upcoming maintenance during scheduled downtime, and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and control short-term and long-term work schedules for the Maintenance Department
  • Coordinate and dispatch technicians to work-orders of all types, including plant startup
  • Review and analyze breakdowns to determine additional preventive maintenance and improve efficiency
  • Define and implement all preventive maintenance procedures for all pieces of equipment
  • Control personnel functions, including regulating hours and overtime, training, evaluating, and disciplining employees
  • Interface with Manufacturing Engineering to plan and implement projects
  • Keep maintenance areas clean and orderly, including developing the 5S program
  • Coordinate and control outside contractors' work
  • Perform functions required to support production
  • Conduct quarterly department meetings, weekly toolbox talks, and safety audits
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
  • Degree in Engineering or advanced training and certifications
  • Able to pass a post-offer drug test, background check, and fitness review
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Willing to train, work, and rotate through all department work stations
  • Capable of working in a hot, non-climate-controlled environment with heavy lifting
  • Experience with Allen Bradley RSLogix 5,500 & Studio 5000 and Fanuc robots
