Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team in Providence, RI. As a key member of our water resources group, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers and scientists to execute projects under the direction of a project manager and in collaboration with discipline experts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and scientists to execute projects
  • Collaborate with discipline experts to deliver high-quality results
  • Develop and implement project plans, including studies, planning, design, and permitting
  • Manage tasks and resources to ensure project success
  • Provide technical guidance and support to early career staff
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Master's degree preferred
  • At least 7 years of relevant design experience
  • Rhode Island and/or Massachusetts PE registration required or ability to acquire within 1 year
  • CFM certification a plus
  • Experience working with municipalities and state agencies desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal, writing, and public engagement skills
  • Experience using AutoCAD, HydroCAD, HEC RAS, or other hydrology and hydraulics modeling programs, and GIS a plus
  • Experience with environmental permitting processes and regulations preferred
