Position Summary:

The Finance Project Manager will play a crucial role in organizing and executing major initiatives for the finance department, working closely with cross-functional teams and external departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and outcome measures for initiatives, collaborating with initiative sponsors, working groups, and regional and shared services Finance & Accounting departments.
  • Drive engagement and momentum of projects, identifying and escalating risks to completion.
  • Measure project trajectory and outcomes related to the initiative.
  • Own related communications, including to working group(s), project sponsor(s), and leadership-level stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships with finance & accounting and key stakeholders in Technology, Operations, Data Management, Legal, and other areas.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with diverse/cross-functional teams, including Finance & Accounting and Operations.
  • Exposure and background in finance/accounting, ideally with project management experience related to financial operations and improvement of controls.
  • Exposure to executive-level stakeholders, including prior project sponsor relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop detailed plans, scoping/requirements documents, and timelines, driving execution targets.
  • 4-year degree required; MBA, PMP designation, Lean Six Sigma training, or other project management-specific experience a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience within a corporate environment, ideally in a project management and/or finance role with an execution focus.
