This role entails the management of facility operations for a large multi-site healthcare organization. Key responsibilities may encompass oversight of various departments such as Plant Operations, Environmental Services, Security, Real Estate Services, and Environmental Safety. The position also involves project management and supervision of minor construction and renovation initiatives, along with other assigned tasks.
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple healthcare facilities with a combined area exceeding 500,000 square feet and more than 250 licensed beds.
- Manage several supervisory roles and departments, including Environmental Services, Dietary, Transportation, Laundry, and Security.
- Act as the Life Safety Officer across multiple locations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting regular departmental meetings.
- Facilitate effective communication with staff, leadership, and clients, including organizing necessary meetings with facility administration and managing customer/vendor feedback.
- Ensure timely delivery of client reports to divisional leadership and oversee the annual Program Quality Evaluation (PQE) process.
- Maintain accreditation, license renewals, and compliance with regulations set by relevant agencies, including OSHA, EPA, and The Joint Commission. Develop and manage capital and operational budgets, ensuring optimal use of resources.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare facility maintenance and medical equipment management.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role managing direct reports.
- Familiarity with regulatory documentation and maintaining compliance with safety standards.
- Proven operational experience in upholding environmental building protocols and effective communication with healthcare leadership.
Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $60.00 to $70.00, with variations based on skills, experience, and education.
Benefits:
Benefit packages commence on the 31st day of employment, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as options for HSA, FSA, and DCFSA accounts. Employees also gain access to a 401k retirement plan with employer matching, along with paid sick leave and other paid time off as mandated by applicable law.
