Job Title: Bartender

Join BlueWater Casino & Resort as a Bartender and provide exceptional hospitality to our guests in a fast-paced casino environment.

Job Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for delivering top-notch service, ensuring a safe and responsible environment, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, answering menu questions and maintaining knowledge of beverages and food offerings.
  • Upsell premium offerings of wine, beer, and spirituous liquors, while observing guest behavior and cues that may indicate intoxication.
  • Anticipate guest needs, complete all steps of service, and use guest names during interactions.
  • Accurately record all sales in the POS system, ensure food items are picked up and served immediately, and maintain a professional and tidy appearance at all times.
  • Perform proper bar top maintenance, bus areas as needed, and stock bar supplies.
  • Ensure and collect guest payment for food and beverage service, and handle guest issues and communicate problems and concerns to management.
  • Maintain excellent attendance, be available to work events and varied schedules, and adhere to all Arizona State Liquor Laws and BlueWater Resort & Casino policies.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume bar, restaurant, or nightclub is required.
  • In-depth wine and alcohol knowledge is preferred.
  • Must have a High School Diploma, G.E.D., or related Food Service Job Experience.
  • Must acquire and maintain a valid C.R.I.T Environmental Health Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, Cash Handling, PCI Compliance, Suspicious Activity, and other required compliance trainings.
  • Must be 21 and have a Valid Driver's License.
  • All employees must obtain a valid gaming license from the CRIT Tribal Gaming Agency prior to beginning work and are required to have license renewed annually.
Work Environment:

The Bartender will work in an indoor environment, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne practices, including second-hand environmental smoke. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate, with flashing lights from slot machines and band lighting.
