The University of Miami has forged a long-term alliance with Legends to manage athletics, ticket sales, customer service, annual fund engagement, ticket operations, digital marketing, corporate partnerships, and multimedia rights opportunities. Furthermore, Legends will represent the University in establishing strategic partnerships across the campus. As the exclusive partner for Miami Athletics, Legends will connect Hurricanes fans and donors, local and regional South Florida businesses, and national brands through unique and integrated sponsorship, ticketing, and hospitality offerings.

ROLE OVERVIEW

In the capacity of Multimedia Production Expert, you will be responsible for producing, capturing, and editing both long and short-form video content for our Partnerships, Sales, Service, Engagement, and Consumer Marketing teams at the University of Miami Athletics. The final outputs will be utilized across television, radio, social media, and various online platforms. Adaptability in a dynamic work environment is essential. Comfort with shooting, editing, audio, and lighting is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform each essential duty at the highest standards. The qualifications listed below are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
  • Bachelor's degree in a video-related discipline and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Familiarity with production workflows for video and digital communications.
  • Strong narrative skills.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining professional digital video and audio equipment, including Cinema, DSLR, and mirrorless camera systems (e.g., Sony, Canon, RED, Blackmagic).
  • Proficiency in digital editing software (Premiere, After Effects, Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, Media Encoder).
  • Knowledge of After Effects is advantageous.
  • Experience in manual color grading of video.
  • Understanding of basic lighting setups and audio capture techniques.
  • Ability to manage, organize, label, and upload assets from shoots effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, with some graphic design experience preferred.
  • Final candidates will be subject to a successful background check.
