PACAF LVC Exercise Planner Job Description

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled PACAF LVC Exercise Planner to support the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) in integrating Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) exercise elements to increase readiness in the INDOPACOM theater.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct planning and development of exercise OTTI and Command and Control (C2) architectures and networks.
  • Facilitate scenario development for integration into PACAF-sponsored and supported Tier 1-4 training/exercise events.
  • Support document generation and mission materials in support of exercise scenarios.
  • Manage Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) execution.
  • Provide continuity technical training on M&S systems to government and contract personnel as requested.
  • Solicit and document Desired Learning Objectives (DLO) and Training Objectives from PACAF/A37 (Exercise Plans), training audiences, and exercise.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years of experience, or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess an Active Secret; eligible Special Access Programs (SAP).
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of USAF planning cycles and processes as well as the employment of US weapons systems in missions that include, but are not limited to, Air Interdiction (AI), Offensive Counter Air (OCA), Defensive Counter Air (DCA), Strike Coordination and Reconnaissance (SCAR), Electronic Warfare (EW), C2ISR, Dynamic Targeting (DT), Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD), Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Aerial Refueling, and Naval Surface Warfare.
  • Familiarity with US Air Force training requirements, methodology, and procedures.
  • Proficient using MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Rated military aircrew with minimum of 200 hours of instructor/evaluator experience, career enlisted aviator, or Ground-Based Air Defense qualifications with operational experience within five years.
  • Previous mission commander and graduate of a U.S. military weapons school.
  • Familiarity with US Air Force policy and doctrine as well as experience with the planning and execution of joint, combined, allied, and other partner nation's operations and exercises.
  • Experience with operations in the INDOPACOM AOR.
Target Salary Range:

$120,001 - $160,000.
