Position Title: Locker Room Service Specialist
Reports To: Men's Locker Room Manager
Position Objective: Provide exceptional personal services to members and guests, including shoe care and beverage delivery. Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and overall maintenance of the locker room environment.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome all members and guests by name whenever possible and assist with locker assignments as needed.
- Develop familiarity with members' full names, recognize faces, and remember locker numbers.
- Perform shoe shining and cleaning services for both golf and casual footwear.
- Oversee the inventory of amenities such as soaps, toiletries, and towels.
- Distribute towels, soaps, toiletries, and other requested items to members and guests.
- Ensure the locker room areas are kept clean. Collect soiled towels and maintain the shoe shine station. Housekeeping staff will manage the cleaning of floors, showers, and restrooms.
- Manage waste disposal by collecting and removing trash.
- Clean and sanitize sinks regularly.
- Conduct minor repairs on golf shoes and spikes as necessary.
- Prepare and serve coffee, iced tea, snacks, and fruit to members and guests upon request.
- Update the notice board of events monthly.
- Maintain security protocols within the locker room.
- Take messages for members as needed.
- Operate and monitor the Jacuzzi, keeping a daily water quality log and ensuring chemical balance is maintained, adding chemicals as required.
- Adhere to all relevant county and state health regulations.
- Report any mechanical issues to the engineering department promptly.
- Maintain current CPR and defibrillator training for spa guard responsibilities.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications
Strong English communication skills are essential. Previous experience in a country club or resort setting is advantageous.
