Lead Pharmacy Operations Manager

The Pharmacy Manager plays a crucial role in influencing our clients and clinic collaborators by advising them on our pharmaceutical care offerings and benefits. This position is accountable for the financial, clinical, and quality aspects of pharmacy services and will manage the daily operations of a pharmacy, which includes dispensing medications and engaging with clients on a personal level. Additionally, coaching, developing, and overseeing pharmacy personnel is a significant aspect of this role. The manager will actively seek top talent for pharmacy positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Foster a positive experience for consumers and clinic partners, continuously building strong relationships to proactively address their needs.
- Serve as a clinical expert, regularly collaborating with the clinical team to achieve desired health outcomes.
- Provide counseling and education to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and personal inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with policies and standards in alignment with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct wellness services, including immunizations and preventive care.
- Oversee financial performance and identify growth opportunities within the pharmacy.
- Inspire, develop, and mentor pharmacy staff to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Create an engaging team environment that embodies compassion and reflects our core values.
- Promote recruitment efforts to attract top talent to our pharmacies.
- Analyze key performance indicators with pharmacy staff to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement workforce and business planning to achieve operational excellence.
- Build robust relationships with the community and stakeholders to meet all needs and enhance pharmacy operations.
- Drive marketing initiatives to promote pharmacy services.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- Current pharmacist's license in California.
- Certified immunizer or willingness to obtain certification within three months of hire.

- Over three years of leadership experience in pharmacy.
