Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive sales growth in one of our locations. As a General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, customer experience, sales performance, and execution of brand excellence in our stores. You will build and lead a team to help each of our guests have a brighter day just from stopping by.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including managing inventory, supplies, and equipment.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that every guest has a positive experience in our store, including providing exceptional service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and increase revenue in the store.
  • Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing team, including hiring, training, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Financial Management: Manage the store's profit and loss statements, including controlling costs and increasing revenue.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food handling and preparation practices meet Nekter standards and local public health services regulations.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: 3-5 years of retail or restaurant management experience.
  • Point of Sale Experience: Experience with Point of Sale systems, including NCR knowledge.
  • Financial Management: Ability to review and present profit and loss statements.
  • Food Cost Management: Experience with managing food costs and inventory.
  • Labor Cost Management: Ability to manage labor costs and schedules.
  • Cash Handling: Experience with cash handling and auditing procedures.
  • Food Preparation: Knowledge of food preparation and handling practices.
  • California Labor Laws: Working knowledge of California labor laws.
  • Passion for Healthy Food: Passion for healthy food and living.
