Job Opportunity: Regional Coordinator

Firefly Children & Family Alliance is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Regional Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in finding permanent homes for vulnerable children and families in Indiana.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective outreach strategies to engage with families, community organizations, and local DCS offices to promote adoption and foster care.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify new approaches to finding permanent families for children, including brainstorming innovative ideas and connecting with local organizations.
  • Provide professional support to children and teens in need of permanent homes, including creating strengths-based child summaries and other materials for prospective families.
  • Plan and execute successful community events to raise awareness of the need for foster and adoptive families in Indiana.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related human services field.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance.
  • Reliable internet access for remote work.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
