Position Overview
The Culinary Services Associate II is responsible for executing food service operations and related responsibilities in compliance with healthcare standards. This role emphasizes exceptional customer service while attending to guests' needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various food service tasks including patient meal preparation, sanitation duties, and waste management.
- Engage in training sessions to learn diverse food service functions such as tray line operations, cart cleaning, and dishwashing.
- Support the Food & Nutrition team in delivering patient meal trays and assisting with related activities.
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Completion of on-the-job training in Food Services is necessary.
Experience & Competencies
Ability to instruct and mentor new hires in designated food service areas. Experience in similar roles is advantageous.
Certifications
Texas Food Handler's Certification is required within 30 days of employment. Texas Food Manager Certification is also required within 90 days of employment.
