  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and resources, ensuring that costs are minimized and value is maximized.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure that maintenance activities are supported by high-quality equipment and services.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a transportation or facilities management environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing maintenance teams and improving maintenance efficiency.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a fast-paced office environment with frequent travel to maintenance facilities and other locations.
  • May be required to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to support maintenance activities.
