Maintenance Manager

As the Maintenance Manager at The Indigo Road Hospitality Group, you will oversee the development, implementation, and management of all administrative, financial, and operating aspects of the Flat Iron Hotel's engineering department. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and profitability of the property, adhering to corporate standards, local, state, and national codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Property Operations: Develop and implement property operations strategies to ensure efficient and effective maintenance of the hotel's facilities and equipment.
- Engineering Department Management: Supervise and manage the engineering department, including the Chief Engineer, to ensure compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Controllable Expenses: Manage controllable expenses, labor costs, and cost per occupied room to ensure profitability.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Education and Experience: A degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or hospitality management, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong understanding of engineering principles and hospitality operations.
