About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Engineer to serve as a key connection between our clients and internal teams. This role is responsible for managing customer relationships, assessing project requirements, and overseeing project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate contact with prospective customers to understand their project needs and assess service compatibility.
  • Generate leads and collaborate with the sales team to maximize new business opportunities.
  • Collect and evaluate detailed technical specifications, including equipment requirements, tolerance levels, and environmental factors.
  • Identify any access or safety issues, and work with clients to establish project scheduling and other constraints.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other internal teams to develop comprehensive project proposals that outline technical approaches, timelines, and cost estimates.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout project execution, providing regular updates to customers and coordinating with internal teams on safety, technical requirements, and logistics.
  • Monitor project costs and make real-time adjustments based on on-site conditions, additional work, or unforeseen delays.
  • Ensure completion of all project documentation, review invoices for accuracy, and address any non-conformance or safety issues.

Requirements:

  • Education: 2-year technical degree required; Bachelor's in Engineering or Business is a plus.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a related role, ideally within an industrial or technical environment.
  • Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong interpersonal communication, and ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Preferred: Experience in a mechanical or machining environment; project management experience or training is a plus.
