About the Role

Pflow Industries is seeking a skilled Technical Documentation Specialist to support our team in creating and maintaining technical documentation, work instructions, and marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Documentation Support: Assist in compiling, printing, and distributing technical documentation, including installation and owner's manuals, electrical installation manuals, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
  • Form and Content Creation: Collaborate with the Technical Writer and Marketing Manager to create and edit technical forms for Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service, following established style and version control guidelines.
  • Software and Tools: Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Word and Excel, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Composer, and Adobe Creative Suite to assist in the creation and editing of technical documentation and marketing materials.
Requirements
  • Requires education equivalent to a High School Diploma or GED
  • Requires experience in a fast-paced, team environment for a manufacturing business
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with technical writing and editing principles
  • Ability to learn new software and tools quickly
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with technical documentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, SolidWorks Composer)
  • Experience in a technical or engineering environment
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience in creating technical graphics and animations
