Job Summary:The Mental Health Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health conditions, including psychiatric and addiction recovery. The successful candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
Responsibilities:- Assess and develop individualized care plans for patients
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and education
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
- Supervise and educate nursing staff on patient care and treatment
- Monitor patient acuity and census, making arrangements for coverage as needed
- Graduation from an approved school of nursing
- Current RN license in the state of Virginia or compact state
- Experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment preferred
