At EMS of Virginia, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team as a Community Based Mental Health Clinician Counselor.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced QMHP to provide Intensive In-home and Mental Health Skill Building Services in the greater Richmond area. As a Community Based Clinician, you will work with clients in their homes, providing one-on-one mental health counseling and skill building to adults with serious mental illness. Your duties will include taking clients to appointments, linking them with community resources, and providing case management to ensure their basic needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health counseling and skill building to adults with serious mental illness
  • Take clients to appointments and link them with community resources
  • Provide case management to ensure clients' basic needs are met
  • Complete individualized services plans and quarterly reports
  • Document progress notes for each session with a client
  • Meet regularly for supervision and attend team meetings

Requirements

We are seeking a QMHP with experience working with adults and children, and who is licensed or licensed-eligible as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). If you are on this path, we will work with you to provide supervision experience toward licensure. If you are a QMHP with experience working with children and/or adults, we want to hear from you.
