Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive dental care to Veterans, including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, and oral surgery.
- Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of urgent and chronic dental problems in a patient population with a high percentage of medically compromised individuals.
- Provide professional guidance to dental hygienists and dental laboratory technicians.
- Mentor dental team members, residents, and students.
- Practice in accordance with accepted professional standards and organizational values.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery or dental medicine degree from an accredited institution.
- Completed residency program in general practice or specialty, or comparable experience as a dentist actively involved in treating medically compromised patients.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
