About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Texas Children's Pediatrics in Katy. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing clinical support to patients in our ambulatory settings, promoting high-quality, family-centered care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
  • Ensure efficient patient flow and document pertinent information in the medical record
  • Process lab specimens and perform tests, following institutional and departmental policies and procedures
  • Report results as written in applicable policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Technical diploma from a medical assisting, emergency medical technician program, or LVN program
  • BLS American Heart Association certification
  • Healthcare and pediatric experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical assistant/outpatient care tasks, and customer service concepts
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
