We are in search of an in-house Visual Communication Specialist to enhance our marketing team. This team comprises talented graphic designers, marketers, communications experts, and other creative professionals.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player, an effective communicator, and proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, while being comfortable in a Windows-based setting. This team plays a crucial role in supporting brand initiatives, internal and external communications, and business development through client engagement and project endeavors. We seek a team member who excels in a fast-paced environment and possesses a talent for creating impactful communication materials and branded assets that adhere to established guidelines. Frequent collaboration with marketing colleagues and studio staff is essential, thus strong communication and problem-solving skills are vital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with clients to design graphics for print marketing, websites, social media, firm communications, campaigns, and business development efforts.
  • Applying knowledge of graphic layout, color theory, and typography across both digital and print platforms.
  • Utilizing visual storytelling to transform raw concepts into engaging messages and distill complex information.
  • Creating data visualizations that simplify intricate information, primarily data, into custom design solutions that effectively communicate a narrative.
  • Assisting in the development of firm-branded materials, including brochures, reports, presentations, posters, invitations, event collateral, social media content, web assets, and advertisements.
  • Interpreting visual identity and brand guidelines creatively for marketing materials.
  • Demonstrating strong organizational skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Producing print-ready files and coordinating with printers and external consultants to ensure high-quality production of branded materials.
  • Engaging in brainstorming sessions and collaborating on projects while integrating feedback.
  • Fostering a culture that values teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • A professional degree in design, visual communications, or a related field is essential.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Experience with PowerPoint is beneficial.
  • Ability to work within a strong brand framework, adhering to established guidelines and processes.
  • A client-focused approach to both verbal and written communication.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Proficient in building relationships and collaborating as an integral team member.
  • Confidence in engaging with senior studio members, sharing ideas, providing feedback, and presenting work.
  • Ability to work with partners both in-person and virtually across various time zones.
