Job Title: Visual Identity Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Visual Identity Specialist to join our in-house marketing team at Ryan Building Group, Inc. The ideal candidate will possess a rare combination of creativity and technical proficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute creative concepts for marketing materials across all media platforms, including websites, landing pages, and email.
  • Design all ad creative, including digital assets such as HTML5 banners, social media creative, and video assets.
  • Take ownership of design projects from start-to-finish, ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to brand standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and deliver high-quality designs.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and project requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and apply them to ongoing projects.
  • Assist in photo editing and retouching as needed.
  • Provide strategic design direction to teams, providing best practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative designs and projects.
  • Experience with print and digital design.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with the real estate or construction industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and other relevant tools.
  • Expertise in traditional print capabilities such as brochures, collateral, direct mail, event graphics, etc.
  • Exceptional conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, branding, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and ideas effectively to both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current design trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Expertise in brand standards, guidelines, and design systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills.

General Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software.
  • Experience in designing for digital platforms, including web, mobile, and social media, with a deep understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
  • Ability to do motion graphics and animation is a plus.
