Role Overview:

Arcadis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Controls Manager to join our team in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the project controls functions for large-scale transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the project controls team and ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement project controls processes and procedures to ensure accurate forecasting and cost control.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on project controls best practices.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement project performance metrics and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project controls, with a significant portion of that time spent on large-scale transportation projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification in project management or a related field.
  • Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, ERP systems).
  • Experience with change order processing.
