Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Owner to join our team at Swift HR Solutions, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding the development and execution of product features and enhancements with a strong focus on technical aspects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand product vision, goals, and strategy.
  • Translate the vision into clear and actionable technical requirements and user stories.
  • Write detailed and clear user stories, with well-defined acceptance criteria to guide the development team.
  • Lead sprint planning sessions in partnership with the development team, defining sprint goals, and ensuring that the team understands the technical requirements.
  • Monitor sprint progress and adjust priorities as necessary.
  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog, including critical path feature work, defects, and small enhancements.
  • Ensure that the team has a running queue of one or more sprints available, which aligns with the product roadmap and company objectives.
  • Partner with the engineering development team to create and maintain a technical roadmap that aligns with the broader product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define and deliver high-quality products.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for technical queries and clarifications.
  • Ensure that all product features meet the necessary quality standards before they are released.
  • Work with product and engineering to define acceptance criteria and oversee testing efforts.
  • Partner with the Product Manager to stay informed about customer needs, pain points, and feedback.
  • Use information to guide technical decisions and prioritize features that deliver the most value.
  • Identify and include requirements for user analytics that must be delivered to measure the impact of features on the goals and outcomes of the vision.
  • Track the results of the analytics after product delivery, to provide feedback on outcomes of the feature.
  • Conduct user research and product demonstrations, or other external product support as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five or more years' experience in product management, with a focus on technical products.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in an agile environment.
  • Familiarity with SQL and Python.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Experience leading agile teams and managing the full product lifecycle.
  • Agile certification is preferred.
  • Proficient in user story creation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage complex technical projects.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to change and manage competing priorities effectively.
What We Offer:

Approved Salary Range for this role is $119,900 to $147,000 based on a combination of experience, qualifications, and education. This is a remote role working within the state of Washington.

There is no visa sponsorship available for this role, applicants must be eligible to work in the USA for any employer now and in the future.
