Position Details:
We are currently looking for a Night Shift Charge Nurse (11 PM - 7 AM) responsible for:
- Planning, supervising, and implementing nursing services for residents while ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Managing daily nursing activities to ensure residents receive consistent, high-quality care.
- Collaborating with the Nursing Director to develop strategies for nursing service operations and emergency support during shifts.
- Coordinating nursing tasks in accordance with medical requirements, physician orders, and overall care plans.
Additionally, you will:
- Ensure the availability of adequate relief staff before leaving the facility.
- Notify residents' personal physicians of any significant changes in their condition or urgent medical needs.
Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited institution and hold a current active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut, with a minimum of two years of nursing experience. Proficiency in Point Click Care software is also required.
