Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second in Command Pilot to join our team at Advanced Air, LLC. As a key member of our flight operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, while providing exceptional customer service to our passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pilot-in-Command: Provide support and guidance to the Pilot-in-Command during all phases of flight, ensuring compliance with operating policies and procedures.
  • Pre-Flight and Post-Flight Inspections: Conduct thorough visual inspections of the aircraft prior to and after each flight, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or issues.
  • Safety and Security: Assume primary responsibility for the safety of passengers, crew members, cargo, and the aircraft in the event of an emergency or incapacitation of the Pilot-in-Command.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded during each flight.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with all Federal Aviation Regulations, Company Operations Manual, Operations Specifications, Standard Operating Procedures, and Company Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1200 hours of total flight time, 500 hours of Pilot-in-Command time, and 50 hours of multi-engine fixed-wing experience.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong ability to multi-task, make high-level complex decisions, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment: Ability to work in confined spaces, manipulate, push, pull, and lift heavy objects (exceeding 150 lbs), and climb onto and off of an airplane wing. Ability to execute flights of up to 4.5 hours, with a total flight time of 10 hours per day during a 14-hour duty period.
What We Offer
  • Competitive Salary: $55,000 per year.
  • Training Contract: 12-month training contract from date of completion of initial training.
  • Schedule and Benefits: Mixed schedule of Days ON and Days OFF, generating 10 days off per month. Flight crews average 15 flying days per month and 8-12 nights away from base, with opportunities for seniority-based scheduling and benefits.
