Advanced Air, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Second in Command Pilot to join our team. As a key member of our flight crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft, while providing exceptional customer service to our passengers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the pilot-in-command during all phases of flight, adhering to our company's operating policies and procedures.
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is airworthy and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Assume primary responsibility for the safety of passengers, crew members, cargo, and the aircraft in the event of an emergency or incapacitation of the pilot-in-command.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our passengers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Comply with all Federal Aviation Regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other flight crew members to ensure seamless and efficient flight operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in aviation or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1200 hours of total flight time, with 500 hours of pilot-in-command time.
- Commercial airplane multi-engine land rating required.
- CFI, CFII, and MEI certificates preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass oral and written exams administered by a FAA-approved check airman or representative of the Administrator.
- Ability to complete competency checks and proficiency checks as required by FAR 135.293 and FAR 135.297.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to pass FAA drug and alcohol screening, background checks, and random drug tests.
- Ability to maintain a current medical certificate as required by the company.
- Competitive salary of $55,000.00.
- Training contract required for 12 months from date of completion of initial training.
- Mixed schedule of days on and days off, generating 10 days off per month.
- Average 15 flying days per month and 8-12 nights away from base as the schedule allows.
