We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our clinical team in Northampton, Massachusetts. This individual will provide exceptional patient service and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. The successful candidate will be a support person to all staff members and patients in their office, handling patient inquiries, making appointments, and assisting with treatment plans through acceptable financial arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors
- Respond to patient questions and concerns in accordance with DCA policies
- Answer telephones and schedule appointments
- Maintain appointment books and confirm appointments
- Follow up on no-shows and cancellations
- Register patients on sign-in sheets and post charges and payments to patient accounts
- Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a dental, medical, or healthcare office is preferred
- Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus
- Experience answering telephones and providing exceptional customer service
