About the Role

The Student Union Supervisor is a key member of the Texas Tech University team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the student union. This role requires a strong leader who can manage staff, assign duties, and ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train student employees, develop existing staff, and manage staff assignments to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Facility Operations: Coordinate the preparation and presentation of food, maintain inventory records, and ensure compliance with food safety guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff, ensuring a positive experience in the student union.
  • Event Planning: Assist in planning and executing events in the student union, including concerts, festivals, and other activities.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the student union and other university departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
