Job Title: RN Health Care Facility Surveyor

GreenLife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a highly skilled RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to join our team. As a surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of care provided by healthcare facilities across the country.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified healthcare facilities to assess compliance with federal regulations.
  • Evaluate the quality of care, treatment, and services provided by facilities, including the physical plant and consumer rights.
  • Communicate non-compliance issues with key personnel and determine if a plan of correction is acceptable.
  • Conduct follow-up visits and monitoring surveys to ensure facilities have implemented plans of correction.
  • Assist with facility and bureau training, and participate in work groups as needed.
Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Successful completion of CMS's Long-Term Care Basic Training and passing the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
  • At least two years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve long-term care residents.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Demonstrated independent decision-making skills and ability to set priorities.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis.
