Role Overview: The Patient Services Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients by managing check-ins, verifying insurance details, and facilitating appointment scheduling.


Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome and register patients upon arrival
- Handle incoming calls and manage appointment bookings
- Maintain accurate patient records and accounts
- Understand and apply insurance protocols effectively
- Exhibit patience and sensitivity towards patient needs
- Actively listen to patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Confirm insurance eligibility and process claims
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to management
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Adhere to company policies and HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality.

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.


Qualifications:

- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding information
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Basic computer skills; experience with dental management software is a plus
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Previous experience in a dental office is preferred but not mandatory.
