As a Radiologic Technologist, you will deliver attentive patient care while complying with all safety and quality protocols. Your role will also include administrative responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, providing patient instructions, and maintaining accurate records. You will be responsible for producing high-quality images and conducting examinations while being sensitive to patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately positioning patients for targeted imaging.
  • Sanitizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety.
  • Interpreting written scanning directives from healthcare providers.
  • Assessing X-ray images to ensure they meet technical quality standards.
  • Communicating scanning procedures to patients, offering reassurance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Current CPR and BLS certifications.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent technical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Commitment to accountability and strict adherence to patient privacy and confidentiality as per HIPAA regulations.

Experience:

A minimum of 1 year of experience in radiography is preferred.

Certifications:

  • ARRT Certification (required).
  • BLS Certification (preferred).

Compensation:

Competitive salary ranging from $36 to $40 per hour, negotiable based on employment type.
