About the Role:

Gedeon GRC Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to lead our project teams in creating detailed designs for civil projects. This individual will be responsible for supervising and coordinating project teams to ensure timely completion and adherence to budget guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including communication with clients and team members to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Design and develop detailed civil projects, including urban and rural roadway/highway designs, drainage systems, and storm water management.
  • Manage project budgets and ensure projects stay within budget guidelines.
  • Provide technical expertise to clients and team members on design and repair projects.
  • Participate in client meetings, including proposal, progress, and completion meetings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of eight to twelve years of related experience in general civil engineering, with a focus on highway/roadway design and storm water management.
  • Experience working with New York state and city agencies, including NYSDOT, NYCDOT, and NYCDDC.
  • NY or NJ Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • Strong understanding of government regulations, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Inroads.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple requests.
