About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engagement Manager to join our team at Amazon Web Services, Inc. As a Cloud Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for driving results and managing enterprise-level IT projects. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Apply Agile and project management methodologies to drive project delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with AWS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on cloud-based projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, including AWS services and architecture.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with US Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and US Government contracting.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects with a combination of 10+ resources, 6+ months, or $250k+ in contract value.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to C-level executives and technical subject matter experts.
