Clinical Nurse III

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our team at Alameda Health System. As a lead nursing professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of an assigned area and ensuring optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement organizational plans for patient care, assessing nursing needs and collaborating with physicians and other staff members.
- Make regular rounds to assess patient care and status, providing assistance, teaching, or guidance as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the implementation of infection control, quality assurance, and continuity of care programs.
- Assist in the preparation of personnel performance records and participate in unit meetings.
- Provide patient care according to established standards and criteria, promoting a healthful and therapeutic environment.
- Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families, promoting cordial and productive patterns of communication.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- At least two years of experience as a Clinical Nurse II with AHS or equivalent experience in a large acute facility.
- Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Desirable certifications include CCRN, ACLS, and BLS.
